This is a list of some of my favorite designers, studios, and inspiration when I am creating. All of these people or things have a great influence on my work and have shaped my design philosophy over the years.
Stockholm Design Lab
Stockholm Design Lab is a globally recognized independent design agency founded in 1998. They are dedicated to creating impactful and enduring brand experiences through a holistic approach that combines strategy and design. Their work spans across various industries and includes visual, verbal, and sound identity design, digital product design, and brand strategy. With a focus on simplicity, innovation, and user needs, Stockholm Design Lab aims to transform brands into powerful and valuable assets by developing unique and engaging experiences.
Dieter Rams
Dieter Rams is a renowned German industrial designer known for his association with Braun and his influential "less but better" philosophy, which emphasizes simplicity, functionality, and aesthetic elegance. His design principles, often summarized in his "Ten Principles of Good Design," have profoundly impacted modern product design and inspired many contemporary designers.
Open Purpose
Open Purpose is an international multidisciplinary design agency based in Stockholm, Sweden. Founded in 2010, the agency focuses on collaborating with founders to bring their visions to life through innovative and creative design solutions. Open Purpose is known for its adaptability and commitment to change, positioning itself as a dynamic partner for creative and ambitious projects.
Ronan Bouroullec
Ronan Bouroullec, in collaboration with his brother Erwan, is a renowned French designer known for their innovative and playful designs. Their work ranges from furniture to architectural projects, characterized by a minimal aesthetic and a focus on natural elements. They have collaborated with prestigious brands such as Vitra, Magis, Samsung, and Flos, creating iconic pieces like the Algues screen divider and the Serif TV. Their designs are featured in prominent museums worldwide, and they have received numerous awards, including the Panerai London Design Medal in 2014.
John Pawson
John Pawson is a British architectural designer renowned for his minimalist aesthetic. His work spans a broad range of scales and types, from private residences to museums, galleries, hotels, and sacred spaces. Pawson's design philosophy focuses on simplicity and the fundamentals of space, light, and materials. Notable projects include the Sackler Crossing at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, the Novy Dvur Monastery in the Czech Republic, and Calvin Klein's flagship store in New York. He also played a significant role in creating the new permanent home for the Design Museum in London.
Nature
Last but certainly not least, nature is the driving force behind all of my creative work. I try to channel the beauty of nature into my designs, creating products that are both functional and beautiful. Making interactions natural and organic is my goal.
